To get an A on this assignment:
You'll need to conduct a little research about Chinese demography (population characteristics) and geography and illustrate 1-2 features with a short analytical narrative about what those features tell us. With another person create a hand-made, hand-drawn or computer-generated map of China or find some other neat and clean map of China (or Asia). Make your map interesting, creative, cool, colorful. Add a layer of vellum (tracing paper) to overlay extra features or make it look like an ancient map!

Extra research:
Your extra research should be represented graphically on a map of China, not as text or an explanation in the margins--though you need to add a paragraph of analysis on a separate piece of paper. Try to include research that tells a story or shows a trend, like why certain areas are good for agriculture, have a higher population density, natural resources, etc. Or consider including important cultural and historical features in each region with some exp
Include with your map a brief narrative that explains the extra research: What do the trends tell us about Chinese or regional economics or politics, history or the future?
